Tips: Compare of Word Format and PDF Format

Microsoft® Word is one of the document formats available but there are other document types that tend to offer more than word and it is PDF. The popularity of PDF has risen over time as it has become the document format of choice for a lot of individuals, businesses and other people who share documents around.

The advantage of PDF over some other document format cannot be overemphasized. In the first place, PDF is used because it offers a lot more document security than other formats. There is no doubt that security of your document is very important and any format that offers better security will be in demand and popular. This is why PDF is widely used among businesses as confidential information must be secured from the public or unauthorized people. In order to secure documents, you can easily apply password to PDF to prevent it from being accessed by other people and this is a big advantage.

Another advantage of PDF is its ability to always maintain document format and leave it the way they are sent. The chances of other file formats getting altered during sharing process is very high but with PDF, your document format is retained and the receiver will get the document exactly as it is.
